# Polyporus umbellatus Im chinesischen Kompendium "Arzneimittel des frommen Bauern" wurde der Eichhase schon vor knapp 2.000 Jahren erwähnt! Er hat in China eine dementsprechend lange Tradition bis zum heutigen Tage! Im Polyporus sind Ergosterin, die Alfahydroxytetratcosansäure, Biotin (ein B-Vitamin), sowie Polysaccharide und Polypeptide enthalten. In der Trockensubstanz der Fruchtkörper wies man 7,9% Rohprotein, mit 45,6% sehr viel Ballaststoffe, 0,5% Kohlenhydrate und 6,6% Mineralstoffe nach. Im Mineralstoffanteil wurden beachtliche Mengen Kalzium, Kalium, Eisen, wenig Natrium, an Spurenelementen Mangan, Kupfer und Zink nachgewiesen. Unsere Vitalpilze werden in Deutschland ohne Hilfe von künstlichen Zusatzstoffen hergestellt und unterliegen strengen Kontrollen auch auf Schwermetalle und Pestiziden.
